What advice I would give Prince Harry and Meghan?
I will start off this post by acknowledging the likelihood of getting the opportunity to part my ‘wisdom’ to Harry and Meghan is very remote.
Now that I have that off my chest here goes…
Having been through extremely stressful situations where I experienced gender discrimination, gaslighting plus the equal opportunity board using all the tricks to dismiss my complaint there is one thing I have learnt…
It is one of the things where I grew/changed as person…. they call it post traumatic growth…
For the benefit of your mental health sometimes we need to walk away and focus on the important things in life: our family and our health.
I do understand why Prince Harry and Meghan felt the need to do the Oprah interview.
Did some if it sound a little petty “Kate made me cry”. Sure. But it is the bigger picture here. It would be the feeling of being treated differently and how unjust it feels.
You feel like screaming it all out. You sooo want to be believed and have your experience validated.
However… honestly …the other side is never going to say “I am sorry you are right”.
So now the Institution (Royal Family) are doing everything to play it down and discredit the information provided in the interview.
On top of this you have all sorts of people putting in their two bobs worth of the interview.
Where do Prince Harry and Meghan go from here?
Do another interview?
In the words of Mark Twain “Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.”
Who knows what happened and who is telling the truth? I honest really don’t care.
I do however know what I personally feel about it. I wish Prince Harry and Meghan hadn’t put themselves through the interview and stress of the media articles which were to follow. Hopefully they do not read the articles as they just keep coming..
This is my advice for Prince Harry and Meghan when they come to ask:
“Put it all behind you, be happy and enjoy what you both have”.
You are fortunate to have the funds to choose how you spend your life. Choose it wisely. Enjoy your son and daugther when she arrives.
I wish only happiness for anyone including both Prince Harry and Meghan.
Goodness knows he has been through a lot and if they have both found happiness together how wonderful is that…
